My fiancée and I have a wonderful home, we live with our two dogs and we both love spending time outdoors. We have spent time slowly doing our house up and really making it our own. The garden is just as important to us as the inside of the house is, not just for the dogs but also for us to be able to enjoy too.
When we first saw the Yardistry Gazebo online we immediately knew the structure would be a great focal point in our back garden. We ended up purchasing it last year, during the pandemic and couldn’t wait to get it up. Yardistry in the UK were really helpful and gave great advice on preparing the ground before we built. After much discussion, we built our own wooden deck in our chosen spot.
We spent a weekend building the structure (thankfully the weather was great — really hot and sunny!) and the two of us together found the instructions easy to follow and the pages clearly set out. The lumber and hardware came neatly packed and was easy to identify. There were no missing parts. Both of us were actually really impressed at how straight forward the directions were to follow and the videos were brilliant. No falling out over flat pack this time round!!
Our house feels really complete now. From the start we have set out to create a real family feel, a place we will be able to enjoy for years to come. The garden is no longer just patio and lawn, but feels like an extension of the house itself. A room with a view all in one! The gazebo has just brought it all together. We have spent numerous hours, day and night, on sunny days and rainy (since we are protected from the elements) — enjoying our gazebo. It has been a real home getaway, especially over the last few months! We cannot wait to share it with friends and family this summer.
